The Information Design Association (IDA) brings together information design professionals, researchers, educators, students, and anyone interested in information design. Independent and interdisciplinary, the IDA puts on regular events in London, and a conference every couple of years, to promote better information for everyone.

Design Observer informed us all the MIT Press has started a Pinterest board reserved for Design Issues’ cover illustrations. Coincidentally, it was only hours ago that I submitted a revised set of layouts for the launch DI’s visual essay segment set to print next issue. My favourite is Massimo Vignelli’s from 1993.
